PSL - Pumpkin Season Lover
We love this time of year, for us it means something completely different than the rest of the world. For us, it means we won't feel like we want to jump into the freezer when done blowing glass in the blazing heat! For the rest, it means - leaves are changing and our beautiful wooded NE Oklahoma landscape looks like it is on fire with the colors, school is starting and our kiddos are experiencing all the new things this year brings, we are shutting down pools and pulling out college football shirts and gear, it means hoodies, chili and crockpots, bonfires and as my friend Traci says, it smells like pencils. What we want you to start thinking about is PUMPKINS! Specifically, glass pumpkins. We hosted a contest in late August for a free glass pumpkin when someone re-acronymed PSL to Pumpkin Season Lover. Way to go winner, Frankie! That was such a great name for our version of PSL. We hope that you start to think of us and share us when you start to feel the air change to a little cooler temperatures, the school buses start flying up and down your street and when the leaves start falling on your car on the way to work. I saw a photo recently that said, thank you Fall for showing us how beautiful it is to let things go. I loved that so much! Fall is such a wonderful time of year.
Our pumpkins are made with the love of fall in mind. The orange and black with brown stems are a little more traditional. Our bright orange with black stems are so pretty as a centerpiece. But we can do any color combos, one of our favorites we have done was a purple with black stem and a pink and yellow with gold stem. We LOVE the clear with the black stem, it happened completely by accident. We start with clear to be able to see what the glass is doing better, always with our first piece in our new studio. I of course would have every piece of glass in our house black if I could get away with it, so we put a black stem on a clear pumpkin. It reminds me of Cinderella, and I think it is just really pretty and elegant. This October, we will be hosting Pumpkin classes, you can make your own pumpkin for your centerpiece! Book your class today for Saturday or Sunday morning between 8am-noon. Bring a friend or a group and get a great deal! The weather is getting a little cooler too, so if you want to host a group night out give us a call to save the date and time. Call Ben at 702.715.3167 or email us at waltersartglass@gmail.com
We hope you love our pumpkins as much as we do. We thank you all for your support, your love and your shares. Please keep telling your friends about the newest spot for date night in Oklahoma, keep sharing us for gift ideas and keep coming back for more giveaways and announcements.
Thank you,
