Building the bench

Imagine not standing on the pitcher's mound for years when all you have ever wanted is to be a pro baseball pitcher. Your entire world has revolved around saving money, looking for opportunities and moving across the country to be able to get back to that dream. Ben called me out into the garage tonight, he finished the bench. This is where the gaffer sits and turns pipe for hours - sweating, bleeding, creating. The bench is the center of the glass studio, I cannot wait to be on that bench again.
